Laura holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, and a Master’s Degree in teaching.  She worked as an educator of special needs students for 22 years.  Her work with the special needs community extended to the management of a non-profit family support program, providing respite for parents of special needs children; and recruiting employers for the Easter Seals Supported Employment program, providing jobs for adults with special needs.   While completing her Master’s Degree, she worked as a copywriter, in print and broadcast advertising at The Asbury Park Press and Press Broadcasting, in New Jersey.    Laura moved from New Jersey to the Atlanta area in 2003, and joined the Alliance Group in November of 2009.  She is a licensed life and health agent and is currently working as an administrative assistant.  She resides in the foothills of the Georgia Mountains, in Braselton, Georgia with the love of her life, her husband, Walter.  In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, weekend trips to the mountains, and nesting in her new “happily ever after” home.
